Cutting a slot
Hi all I build all types of RC car chassis and parts. I am trying to figure out how to cut just a single slot. Say 3mm by 50mm. Basically a 3mm end mill to plunge into material( 3mm carbon fiber) and just cut the specified length. I cannot figure out how to get carveco maker to do this. Please help, Thanks in advance..

Based on the information you've supplied, please try drawing an open vector representing the centre of your End Mill tool and create a Profile toolpath making combined use of the Along and Selected Vectors options found in the Profiling panel's Profile Type & Vector Association settings in order to make use of your open vector.
