making a program from picture
Hi. I'm new to this community and I need some advice.
I have been asked to make some detailed work. I have downloaded a picture of it on to Carveco Maker. Is there a way to draw on the picture to make a cutting format? It is large decorative balustrade that I will have to do in sections.

Hi Keith Self,
You can trace an image which you've already imported into Carveco Maker by completing the steps provided in the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal: Tracing Images
With that said, you cannot create a 3D relief from vectors in Carveco Maker; you would need the Relief Creation tools available in Carveco Maker+ or our flagship Carveco product to do that.
When working in Carveco Maker, it would be far easier for you to import a 3D model of a balustrade, paste it as a section and then create a Machine Relief toolpath to machine that section.
Please browse through and watch the demonstration videos available from our Carveco Training portal: https://learn.carveco.com/
Thanks for your time and consideration.
