G Code for Longmill
What file type should I be saving my toolpaths too for a Sienci LongMill? I am using gSender to run my mill. I have been saving the files as "G-Code (inch) (*.tap).

Hi Kenneth Williams,
When saving your calculated toolpaths from Carveco Maker, select either the UGS GRBL (inch) (*.gcode) or UGS GRBL (mm) (*.gcode) post processor option (depending on whether you're working in imperial or metric units) from the Save Toolpaths dialog's Machine file format list, and then load the resulting .gcode file into Universal Gcode Sender or gSender. Several of our customers have already confirmed that these post processor options are compatible with Sienci Labs' Longmill CNC machines.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
In using UGS GRBL (inch) (*.gcode) you are restricted to a single tool as that postprocessor doesn't support tool changing. The latest (at this time 1.0.5) gSender does support tool changes with the M6 command. Is there now - or are there plans - to support a postprocessor compatible with the LongMill (gSender) + tool changes ?
