Feature Suggestion: Dimension Lines

I add dimension lines to a lot of my models. If there's a built-in feature for doing so, I have managed to overlook it. Otherwise, it would be a great feature to add. In order to complete the drawing below, I had to use the measure tool, remember the length, draw a rectangle, remove one side of it, and type in the dimension. Not a big deal - unless you need to do it often, as I do. Has anyone found a quick way to accomplish this?
