  • Hi Rick Hepburn,

Please watch each of the following demonstration videos included in our Carveco Fundamentals training course, which show the process for importing relief clipart and STL models into Carveco Maker:

Thanks for your time and consideration.

  • I have watched the videos. many times but I still cannot wrap my head around it.

I can do them separately , each on their own but (example) when I bring in the dish from the library, it's fine but when I bring in an STL file to put in the dish area, the dish goes away like I had not imported it. where does it go so that I can see them both.  Thanks for the time.  Rick

  • Hi Rick Hepburn,

Please share a short video to demonstrate the process you're using in Carveco Maker. We recommend that you use the free WeTransfer service's Get a Link option to upload a file, so that you can then share the generated download link when replying here.

Please confirm whether you're positioning the imported STL model at the correct Z height relative to the existing dish relief in your model prior to clicking the Paste 3D Model dialog's Paste button.

Thanks again for your time and consideration.
