    Please watch the following demonstration videos included in our Carveco Fundamentals training course: 

    To draw a line tangent to a circle from a point, draw a line from the point to the centre of the circle. Bisect that line, and, from that midpoint, draw another circle that is through the centre of the original circle. The positions in which your two circles intersect are the tangent points.

    Alternatively, if you know the required angle of the line vector, snap a line's start node to the centre of the circle, draw the line outwards at your required angle, offset the line outwards equal to the radius of the circle, then use the Trim Vectors tool to trim away the lines. The line should then be tangent to the curvature of your circle.
