Text support for European characters

I'm producing a model that features text that sits on top of a sculpted scroll. Normally, I create the text in Affinity, distort it to match the flow of the scroll, then drop it into Carveco.

I'm currently faced with a large block of text that's looking problematic to CNC, so I want to lay it out as centreline, and let the engraver cut it in so that he's got more control.

I'm copy/pasting the text in from supplied reference due to the large number of special characters (neither I, nor the client speak the Baltic language in question, so it's easy to miss something), but on pasting it into Carveco, it removes the capitalisation, and there's no option to remedy this in the text settings.

I'm using iso_cz font, as it seems to be the only one that handles all the special characters.

Anyone solved a similar problem?
