What you can do with Carveco to create awards and trophies out of brass and SSM

The image of the trophy we created was all undertaken with Carveco and machining strategies that helped us achieve some of the nuances in the design. The pieces were made back to back, so it was the same at the back as it was at the front.  Solid brass was used for the metal and SSM( solid surface material) for the base.

The buckle was done in the same way using the weave texture to create a contrast for the back drop to the face and minimise the  machining marks over the large surface area.  The buckle was created using combined 3d and 2d machining strategies. The buckle was polished brass with a protective anti tarnish clear ceramic coating.
