  • Hi Brad,

    Please try these steps:

    1. Press the F2 key on your keyboard to work in the 2D View.
    2. Using the Create Rectangle tool, draw a square with the Angle set to 45 degrees. The rotation angle makes the square a diamond shape.
    3. With the diamond shape selected, press the N key on your keyboard to enter Node Editing mode.
    4. Position the mouse cursor over the top-right span in the diamond shape, then press the A key on your keyboard. The linear span in the diamond shape is converted to an arc.
    5. Position the mouse cursor over the top-left span in the diamond shape, then press the A key on your keyboard. The linear span in the diamond shape is converted to an arc, and you now have a heart shape.
    6. Click and drag vertically to create a selection envelope around the top and bottom nodes, then use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to adjust the shape of the heart.

  • Hi Richard Roark,

You would need to create an Area Clearance toolpath, with your heart-shaped vector selected. Please watch the following demonstration video included in our Carveco Fundamentals training course: Area Clearance

Thanks for your time and consideration.
