Preview Feature: Toolpath Colour Simulation
In the Carveco 1.14 release, we've added our third Preview Feature.
Toolpath Colour Simulation
Simulate toolpaths with automatically-assigned colours. A colour simulation emphasises which tool has machined a specific area of your job, making it easier to identify issues in your machining strategy.

Follow these steps to try it out!
-
From the Start page, select Preview Features.
-
Select the Enable Feature check box in the Simulate Toolpaths with Colours section.
-
Create several toolpaths.
-
From the Menu bar, select Toolpath > Simulation > Simulate All Toolpaths with Colour menu option.
OR
Right-click the Toolpaths item in the Project tree, then select Simulate All Toolpaths with Colour context menu option.
OR
With the Project tree's Toolpaths item selected, click the Simulate All Toolpaths with Colour button in the Simulation area displayed below the Project panel's splitter bar.
Please let us know if you find this feature useful, if you have any suggestions on how we can improve it, or if you encounter any issues while using it.

Toolpath Colour Simulation: will models created prior to 1.14 automatically generate toolpath color simulation, or will existing tool paths need regeneration in 1.14?
Video demo, if so, where?
Hi Danny,
Regarding your first question, toolpaths within Carveco Model files (*.art) originating from any Carveco release prior to 1.14 need recalculating in Carveco Version: 1.14 Build: 2020-03-27-0957-caee0723 with the Preview Feature enabled.
Regarding your second question, please continue to check our YouTube channel for additional demonstration videos.
The tool ist very good.
But it can be more helpful when I can deposit the Color in
the tool library at the milling tool.
For example "Red for the 8mm endmill"....."Yellow for 4 mm endmill".
Da sistemare:
I colori sono troppo "forti". Non permettono buona visione nel 2D.
Se cambio un colore percorso non rimane memorizzato se ricalcolo
Ottima funzione.
Love this new feature!
Thanks
great addition !
