I am trying to make an egg on the rotary model I can't seem to do it, I also want to be able to attach a base in different styles, I have STL file of an egg, the finished size of the egg I want is 5.9in long and 5.1 in wide excluding the base, any help with this please would be great

You need to "Import STL for unwrapping" and pay close attention to the model orientation. Where in the process are you getting stuck?
after I bring it in all the windows that come up what they all mean what settings to use
Open a rotary model Diameter .1
Draw the profile of a egg
Select the center line and then the profile
select the Weave tool choose either add or subtract
