A simple request?

Allow for lines in the 3D view that delineates the project workspace boundaries.

Now what I do in order to see the project boundaries is create a vector that is the size of the canvas/project. I know I can have the Zero Plane visible but I prefer working with it turned off and if I do not have the vector delineating the boundary I sometimes wind up too close to the edge of the boundary or even over it.
