Mouse zoom in and out problem

Using Carveco in a parallels vm , which works great except for zooming in and out with mouse. Can not really control will vary in size no way to slow it down or do incremental zoom and centering is a pain in the .....

Also it would be great to have short cut key stroke to zoom in and out
