I am looking for a Sea Turtle vector. I would like to carve a cutting board in the shape of a sea turtle with inlay detail inside. I have been able to get images online and do the rast-to-vector conversion but end up with many vectors that dont seem to want to join. I would also like to know if anyone knows how to create a border around a group of vectors in the correct shape? Thanks for any help offered.

Hi Arnie Edwards ,
It seems like the raster image you have has too many colors or it's not ideal in any way for the Bitmap to Vector command. In that case it'd be best to trace all vectors manually. However, there are various ways to 'control' the image's colors in order to eventually use the Bitmap to Vector command.. check these 2 videos that might help:

Regarding the border, you can simply select the outline of the Turtle and make an Offset (outside-rounded). That should work.
Hope this was helpful!
