Eding CNC

Good evening,

I am curious to know which postprocessor I can select best for a Sorotec CL1005 equipped with Eding CNC 720 controller. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Hi Stephan Uijthoven,

Please read the following article published by Eding CNC: Which CAM software supports Eding CNC

Based on the information included within this article, provided you're working in metric units, we would suggest that you start by selecting the LinuxCNC_Arc_MM_TC(*.NGC) post processor option from the Save Toolpaths dialog's Machine file format list when saving your calculated toolpaths from Carveco Maker+, and then test under safe conditions (dry run, air cut only).

If you should encounter any issues, we would then suggest you do the same with the Mach3_4-Arcs(inch)ATC(*.TAP) and Fanuc (*.fan) post processor options.

Please confirm your results when replying to this post.

Thanks for your time and consideration.
