Remove backgrounds from models

Newbie here (Carveco Maker)! I have been creating relief models from 2D images and saving some of them to the Relief Clipart Library.  However, all my models include a flat background beneath the model. I would like to save them in the Relief Clipart Library without that background (just like the ones already in there).  It will make combining them into other models much simpler. Not sure what I'm missing, whether its at the image import stage or saving the files. I've tried creating a boundary vector and zeroing outside it but that doesn't seem to work. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

  • Hello Adam,

First thing I thought was creating a boundary and then zero outside.. Could you explain why this doesn't work or maybe share some screenshots? It'll make it easier to help and solve this.

    Best,

    Elina.
